MedalFolders is a cool little freeware application that sits in your Windows System Tray and provides a simple, customizable way to access internet links, file folders, or applications. Once installed, you can add links to files, folders or internet sites by simply opening MedalFolders and dragging your links onto the MedalFolders application. Then, your links are accessible by simply clicking the MedalFolders icon in your System Tray.
I use MedalFolders for quick access to my project related links. For example, I have links in MedalFolders to project folders on my hard drive, project SharePoint sites and other intranet sites related to my current projects.
