For 2+ years now, I have religiously performed a weekly review. As with anything GTD, my processes have ebbed and flowed between simple and complex. In searching through my blog, I recently realized that my weekly review has not really changed much since I wrote about it in early 2008. I was pretty surprised. Other than a few small tweaks, the basics of the weekly review process have continued to work well over time. For me, that includes;
- Achieving Inbox Zero
- Following up on Projects
- Following up on Agendas
- Following up on People
- Deleting stuff I really don't need
- Checking and updating my Moleskine Notebook
...and at the end of the week (I have moved my weekly review to the end of my week rather than the beginning), I can achieve a mind like water!

Cool. Sounds like you have the weekly review down, when so many seem to have trouble with it.
BTW, Have you ever missed a weekly review? I was wondering the impact it has on your productivity.
Review 777, if I cannot perform a weekly review at my normal time, I do reschedule it soon thereafter. The weekly review is integral part of my system for being organized. I cannot imagine skipping it!
