Do you have a set of Sauder-like white shelves? We do. They come with little round white tabs that cover the screws holding the shelf together. What we have found is that the screw covers come off quite easily. So easily that they can get lost, or worse yet, consumed by a small child!
Today’s lifehack tip is to simply eliminate those white tabs and “paint” the screw tops with white-out/Liquid Paper. No muss, no fuss, no little round tabs getting lost, no little round tabs getting ingested by little round children.
For other colored shelving units - Just use a brown permanent maker to cover the screws on a brown shelf, or a black permanent maker if you have a black shelf… you get the idea!
