One of the challenges with managing your desktop icon placement on top of custom wallpaper is that icons don't always stay where you put them. If you change your screen resolution or accidentally choose the "auto arrange" function, your icons will typically shuffle all around (where you don't want them). I have a solution for this. Glad you like Layered Dektop :-)
If you're on Windows, it would probably work better if you just flip the image horizontally, so downloaded and new file line up vertically on the wooden surface.
